Why do you have a page about my restaurant?
Because the City of Montréal publishes the list of its food establishments as open data, and we prepared the register Chapter VIII asks for in advance — for everyone, not only for customers. The page restates the law and never shows a status. If we wrote to you, your email address came from a publication of your own business (website, official page), and “STOP” is enough to never hear from us again.
Is the inspection register really required?
Yes. Chapter VIII (Building) of Québec's Safety Code requires the operator to keep a register of checks and maintenance — hood, extinguishers, alarm, emergency lighting. Tigidu restates the law and cites the norms; every establishment's page is free and will stay free.

Where do your frequencies come from?
From cited norms (NFPA 96, NFPA 10, CAN/ULC-S536…). When a frequency hasn't been validated against a primary source it carries a “to confirm” badge — and grease-trap maintenance is shown as a suggested interval, never a legal deadline, because none exists Québec-wide.
What does it cost?
Your establishment's public page: free, forever. Claiming it costs nothing and opens a full 14-day trial, no card. After that, living tracking (dates, 60/30/7 reminders, vault, unlimited dossiers): Prêt at $99/mo — $79 for the first 10 founders — or yearly for the price of 10 months. Register setup by text message is included in the plan: you send your certificates as photographs, we file them.
What is the inspector dossier?
A page — or a PDF — showing the register's state and the filed certificates, ready to hand over. A secure, expiring link you share with the inspector, insurer or landlord. It comes out in one click.
